Do I have to pay import duties?
If you order from outside of Europe, there is indeed a possibility that you have to pay import duties. Most of the time small orders come with no extra costs, but this varies from country to country.
From which locations are products being shipped?
At the moment, we only ship from the Netherlands. We work hard on more distribution points worldwide.
Can I send or exchange my product?
If the product does not meet your expectations, you can exchange it for free or get your money back. In such an event, send an email to support@closethegap.cc and insert the following information:
  • Your original order number, name and email address
  • Do you want to trade the item or want your money back?
  • What’s the problem? Photos work well to clarify the problem.
  • Additional information, f.e. the type of bicycle computer you use.
Who takes care of the shipments?
Because Santa only delivers ones a year, we thought it was best to let the pros take care of our shipments. The Dutch postal service PostNL picks up the packages, local postal services will ensure the orders will be delivered in the right place.
How long does it take before I receive my order?
If you order from the Netherlands before 15.00 hours your package will be delivered the following day. In Belgium delivery will take place within two business days after ordering. For other international shipments delivery time varies by country. If you live in Europe and have not received a package within seven days of the delivery confirmation, please send an email to support@closethegap.cc. In that case we will put on our detective cap and find out what the status is.
I live outside of Europe and I haven’t received my package: help!
Deliveries outside of Europe can take some extra time. If you do not have your package within ten business days, please send us an email with your order number + full address details to support@closethegap.cc
Can I buy CloseTheGap products at my local bike shop?
CloseTheGap bike accessories are not ‘online only’. There are several bike shops that sell our gear, but we are always looking for new suitable sales locations. So if your local dealer is not selling CloseTheGap products, why not let him know that you would very much like him to do so? He can contact us at sales@closethegap.cc
Can I change or cancel my order?
Oops, you filled in the wrong address, or ordered something in the wrong color? No worries, please send an email to at support@closethegap.cc, and we will do our best to adjust the order. As long as you have not received a shipping confirmation, we can simply remove the order, so you can place a new one. Once orders have been sent, we will not be able to retrieve them immediately.
