The Veluwe is one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the Netherlands with its vast moors and sand drifts. A while ago, the CloseTheGap team went looking for the most beautiful MTB trails around our office in Epe. We have made a beautiful route from those trails that you can also ride.

It’s going to be a rough morning

On Sunday morning at 10:00 the CloseTheGap team gathers in Epe to go mountain biking. We are ready for a route full of single tracks. I brought my Camelback myself so I have some extra water with me. It is going to be a tough ride and long. The MTB route is about 80 kilometers long and is mainly about beautiful single tracks.

Single trails

Turn, turn, sit, stand and then turn on again. Everything comes along. We are put to work. The single tracks stay but there seems to be no end, what a cool route this is! Via the nature reserve Tongeren we drive along Vierhouten to Nunspeet and then cycle back to Epe via Wezep. We are tired and satisfied, this route is highly recommended for the mountain biker who likes a challenge.
