We have listened carefully to your feedback and made a slight but effective adjustment to the design of the HideMyBell fi-mount. To make sure the fi-mount fits all handlebar/stem combinations, the arm is equipped with slot holes. These enable you to adjust the position of the computer in the best possible way. However, we found out that the fitting of the first generation fi-mounts was not always as tight as we would like it to be. For example: when the stem is round and you tightened the bolts, the arm bent, the slot hole widened and the bolts lost grip. We solved this problem by strengthening the slot hole with two extra ribs.
If you have a first generation HideMyBell fi-mount and encounter the described issue, you are entitled for a new copy. Please send us an email with a copy of your invoice and a picture of the problem. support@closethegap.cc
