Returns
How to return an item:
We recommend that you contact us by email first at support@closethegap.cc as in many cases we can help without a return. Please be honest, we want to help you but we need all the facts. Please read the postage refund guidelines (see below) carefully and include all required details and receipts on your returns form. We cannot process postage refunds retrospectively. Please ensure your item is safely packaged, it is your responsibility until it arrives at our premises. If you wish to return a non-faulty item, it must be in an “as new and resalable condition”.
Postage Refund Guidelines
You can apply for a return postage refund in the following situations:
- The item is faulty
- The item is incorrect and doesn’t match the order placed
- The item is damaged on arrival
- Postage refunds are not possible for returns without fault.
- Postage for returns must be paid for by the customer initially. We are not liable for any goods damaged or lost in transit.
- We recommend you use recorded delivery and gain proof of postage to cover you in case of loss.
